I just read on the Whistler Blackcomb Site that the new pipe at base 2 won't be open for night moves until after the World Snowboard Championships which are Jan. 15th - 23rd. That sucks.

 
yeah erica- that really sucks.. theres no good half pipes in washington until atleast february if we're lucky.

yeah, that really sucks. there is never ever a pipe in Indiana. wait... we don't even have a mountain. just a hill. but our park is rad and very fun, and sum total badasses have come outta here.

Isn't that pipe pretty low on the mountain? Wouldn't that mean that you'd have to wait till January to get a decent pipe there anyways?

Isn't night skiing an added expense for resorts? Isn't it true that most other resorts with night skiing charge you more money to add a 'night skiing option' to your pass? Doesn't the new Night Moves pipe cost money to build?

And hey, while I'm at it, didn't Whistler-Blackcomb open a bunch of new terrain this year, and didn't they actually lower prices on pretty much all lift ticket and season pass options?

I'll be the first in line to complain when Intrawest fucks people, but isn't this particular bitch fest completely and utterly useless, pointless, and just plain stupid?

Wow. I'm just mad about the $85 add-on because we used to be able to buy a one night ticket. Apparently that's not happenning, which definitely doesn't make sense. I won't be able to go enough nights to make it worth while.

 
^wait and see. I'm sure that, like most resorts, Whistler Blackcomb will sell one night passes for night skiing. How else would they get the tourists?

If not, then they're not too smart, and you'll probably just be able to poach it.

You sure seem to do a lot of it. And besides, you know damn well that setting up a lift ticket program for night skiing at w/b would be damn easy to do, seeing as they did it last year, and that they're concentrating on selling seasons passes and season pass add-ons(such as the night moves pass) right now, meaning that they could damn well later on decide that one night lift tickets are a good idea, and announce it at a later date.
