We're actually in the process of importing all the old media into the new system. Things might be slightly broken and buggy as this update goes out.

By the end of the day we should have the bulk of the first round of changes out.

The imports are still in progress. Some of your stuff will be gone and go up and down for the next few hours.

will you be able to delete pictures from your profile again? or will what's there be permenantly there?

Right now you will be unable to delete pictures from your profile. You will be able to set public and private easily.

Coming in one of the next round of updates there will be a much more robust media management tool, allowing advanced control over all your media.
