New news about snowmaking this year....

that's pretty smart. which is amazing that kb would do something smart...

but holly is like a death trap when its the only hill open because you have every skill level packed onto one hill...the old people who make giant turns across the entire hill and get pissed if you pass them, little kids that kamikaze down the hill, and bus kids that take off their snowboards and walk down.

this will all happen on coal chute too, but at least its a bigger hill so maybe it won't be quite so congested.

LOL.

Soooo true.

I've got nothing against the kamikaze kids though. They stay out of the way. Lol.

Haha, I remember like 4 years ago, me and a friend went there on the first bigsnow fall, way before any real skiing was open, and built a booter, it suckkkked so bad looking back. The run -in was slow as hell, it was super swampy because the ground wasn't frozen yet, and there wasn't much of a landing.

Dont Lie steve u know u hate the kamakazi kids, they are fun to watch and all but think of how much u bitch about them not getting bithced at when we get bitched at for the bar up or something.

sooooo much bitching....

True true, but the bitching is the problem. I realy could care less about the kamikaze kids themselves.

In fact, I am envious of their ability to be so blatently obviously out of control, yet get under the radar while I get hounded for a minor thing risking only harm to myself, as having the bar up.

A true paradox.

more congestion = fun

or go buy a pass to emery park, that it a good alternative

we ahould all ski an afternoon there or something, because not everyone has a pass there anymore

Lol. Emery park is wild. it's made BC. I heard ya gotta make sure you got transcievers and probes for the avies and shit. Ridic.

Anyways, I'll be a t KB tomorrow to pick up my pass. I will take a gander at the hill, and see how many snowmakers they really have out, and see what it all looks like.

im probably going to just hike that bluemont place near my house during break... if there is more than 12" of snow on the ground. kb's prices are a little above what i have, and im trying to buy skis.

there are a number of things you could do to ski at KB and not pay

sneak on the lifts

park at the top and ski down to the rails, and then hike back up to your car

get a ticket from kenton or some other instrustor

or

go to emery park,
