seriously the fact that MSP has SOOO much money, that they have to screw other companies over just to compete and do every dirty trick in the book just to stay competitive should show you guys that if any of these other companies had the cash that MSP has the ski industry would be better off....

If a compnay like Level 1 or Theory 3 had the million dollar budget for their movie, just imagine what they could make. I bet they wouldnt repeat songs they have used in previous movies or spend it on making Jay Quinlan a jump to do backflips on.

I say this year we really show them that we are fed up with all their bullshit and not buy their movies. I stopped 2 years ago, and every little bit counts.

my favorite segment in yearbook was rainvilles, that was sick, abmas, and pollards were ok, and rory bs wasn't that bad but a lot of them were junk

I love MSP movies, they're so professionally done. They use their budget to use the highest quality equipment, go to the best locations, and get their DVDs done better every year.

I admit that I can't stand watching Ski Movie II, and Ski Movie III was only a slight improvement. But Focused blew my socks off, and then Yearbook expanded on that by taking off a layer of skin. This year I can only wait to see what they'll do. I already know that they're doing a big part on my home mountain, Shames Mountain, as they were out here heli-skiing twice last year (Hugo, Treadway, Abma, Backstrom) and are planning on coming again.

all the other companies are slowly chompin' at the bit. when you buy next year's films, just don't say "Super Size Me" and get Level 1, RAGE, Theory 3, etc. Even though JB's teaser isn't out yet, the other two are easily as good as the McDonaldsm Carls Jr, and Burger Kings...and way more easy to say..."holy shit, I can't believe that kid did that."

dave, whats your beef with MSP? Is it the winter shit? Understandable i guess, i havent seen the footage from high five, ive heard the other shit about the H/H stuff, but essentially you can dig as far in the ground as you want, and eventually you're gonna come across some shit- no matter who you're digging into pbp L1p etc. Seriously stop the hate and just appreciate the movies for what they are. MSP's shots and skiers and shit are incredible. if you hate msp and are aiming to get them out of the video market thats pretty anti of you cause we skiers need as many sick companies making sick films, with one less that just means that theres less shit for us to watch and drool over. By the way dave, having hung out with murray, scott, gabe, dave, etc- i know those guys are fucking cool, they're not assholes- and i dont know why the fuck people are talking so much goddamn shit when they dont know someone, its just a load of bullshit.

No Doghouse you've got this all wrong. Without MSP, the other "good" film companies would have a WAY larger budget to make movies, and would come out with a movie 10 times better than what MSP wastes their millions on. You'd think they would at least find new songs for their segments with that kind of cash.

I dont understand what is so bad about the actual movies that MSP makes (not their business ethics). Their editing isnt the greatest but they are by far the best at balancing big mountain with park and their cinematography is incredible. Although, this year should be interesting with them losing seth, cr and tanner. I think they are either going to have to get creative and really step out of their mold or they will have a bad movie.
