New lines

What's everyones opinions on the newer Line skis? I used to have the Anthems which were some of my favorite skis of all time. I havn't ridden Line lately. Is it still up to the same good quality as it always has been? Are they a safe bet to purchase for skis?

I wouldn't say Line has been known for their "quality" however they do build fun and playful skis which, (while they're in good shape) perform really well.. I've heard of some longterm durability issues with their skis, and I know a friend who had to warranty a couple new pairs of the vision 108 last season.

I hear some of their cheaper (sub-$500) offerings have hit-or-miss durability. Thin edges that can be prone to cracking and topsheets that have a tendency to delam. But I've heard great things about their higher-end stuff like the Visions, SFBs and Blends

^ This. Their higher end skis can either hold up really well and last years, or delam within the first month. Seems like quality control issues similar to faction in previous years. (I know they've stepped it up the last season or two)

Chronics are, maybe, the perfect park ski in my mind. However, I haven’t put them through a full season of paces yet so can’t speak to durability. Got them at end of season in March. Love them for park but they’re just alright for all mountain

quality = average

value = very good

Skied a hadfull of last years models. Blend, sfb, vision 108 and 118. All are super fun. They have a very signature feel which is fun damp and buttery. But most of them had some sort of quality issue. But also all of the owners ski them as daily drivers and ski them pretty hard. Good luck!

as said previously the vision is a fantastic touring ski but it is also insane as fuck fun in the resort. Blows everything in it's weight class completely out of the water. I even took my touring bindings off and put pivots on because they are insane as fuck fun in the resort
