i dont like some of the stuff they have done in the past..like the skogens with the train on them ... orange and purple??/ what where they smoking?

 
whats with this mid season release trend? I would rather get my skis before the season starts so that im used to them by now.

 
the mother ships look amazing aling with all of the graphics. mike nicks are different and i think that is waht makes them appealing...cronics = oh my god

anyone know what type of skiing the chronics are for? if they're less than 80mm it's probably a park ski, but if thats the case are they still making the 1260, or does the chronic replace it?

The 1260's are staying, but then still have ninja's on them. Not the same as this years, but still ninjas which i think sucks

yeah, the name sucks. i thought it was a stupid and unorignal name last year when Necky came out with kayak called the chronic. now, a year later i think it's even stupider and less original to have a ski called the chronic.

its a pe like graphic, and its a mid ranged price ski, mo ship has the best graphic in the how lineup, hottie on the tail holdin up a speaker

Yah...it is....I've seen pics of both...the new Mo'Ships are absolutly the sickest ski I've ever seen.....and I don't even really care for line skis.

this is about the 10th thread on these skis, can somebody please get a damn picture of them? somebody already got one of the new armadas. so you guys who have seen the skis, just snap a picture it would be appreciated by the rest of us.

its funny how this market is made up. We hear of a new ski, and what do we ask for? The graphic. does anyone see anything wrong here? I mean, shouldnt we be considering things like shape and width, core construction, and edge thickness before graphic even comes into play? I bet that if all skis were blank, we all would be riding something that we currently hate, just because of the graphic. its actually pretty sad that are little clic of the market is truly driven on graphics alone. Look at next years ski lineup for example. a good portion of the twins stay the same except for graphic. 1080 is the same (but gets a new much needed bitchen graphic, same with the rocket), PE is the same, but with a new grpahic, TroubleMaker is the same, but gets the addation of the ProModels, (same as the TM, new graphics) and the Scratchs are the same, just getting a more wacky graphic. hmm, something just doesnt seem right. And the funny thing is, I bet half of ya sell your current boards, just to by the 'new and improved' versions next year, where you are just gonna be riding the same old shit. SAD that fashion comes before function.

yeah, it definitly blows when companies aren't ACTUALLY improving their twins.... if the 1080's are the same, that's 3 years of the same design from a company with arguably the biggest available R&D budget. Same with Scratch's... 3 years, no improvements. I hope these companies aren't trying to tell us that they can't think of any more ways to improve their skis, cause that's pretty sad.

it pisses me off how they change the graphics say it this years model and keep the price going up. Why should we have to pay top price for a 2 year old ski.

its pretty sad so many people care more about what the skis look like than how they peform, but you have to admit, it was pretty damn smart of the manufacturers to start making the skis look purty. Im still looking for a good pair of all mountain twin tips, and I dont care what they look like.

 
im excitied to see what line has to offer, im hoping for wider skis, stiffer flex, wider edges, and oliie carbon bands in most of there skis. and a good durable base.

that combo with sick graphics, and there at the top of my list.

i think people care about graphics the most is because we know the skis perform well. Pros ride them, so if they're good enough for them, they're good enough for us.

but yeah, i see what you're getting at about people caring too much about graphics.

my buddy brandon becker got picked up by line and was skiing the chronic at the x-qualis. he said that he loved theski and the rode great. much better than other line skis. oh and I don't know about the graffics for all you trend whores. they had the 1260 graffics on them seeing as they aren't done with the graffics.

yeah i definitely agree with the graphic obsession thing, but except in very few cases, they are being changed every year at least some

what would u change on the 1080's and scratches if u could. i dont think they need to be changed really. althoug they could offer a 176 lenght for 1080s. allot of people are scared of long skis but 171 is still too short for them
