New Life vs Bent Chetler vs Something else?

I just snapped a pair of 186 line prophet 100s which I loved. I'm now looking for something wider and with a rocker to be used as my everyday/pow ski. I am a very aggressive whistler skier who loves pow, ripping groomers switch and regular, trees, cliffs, steeps, hit runs, straightlines, crud, and park. I'm 5'10 180 lbs, grew up racing, switched to park for 5 years and now ski the mtn looking for pow or something to drop. Only other skis I own are park skis so these will have to be my everyday/pow ski. A pretty key factor is that I love carving and need to be able to rail a turn.
I like the Bent Chetlers but have heard that they ski short and are pretty soft. I like a stiffer ski. I like the camber and rocker but am concerned about the stiffness. Will they hold up well on big drops/drops to hard pack? Can they hold their own on straightlines or will they get squirly? I like the playfulness and pop for hit runs but are they light/quick enough for spins? Apparently the 183 skis quite short and the 192 are hard to come by this time of year.
The New Lifes seem like a pretty good ski but also pretty fat. I'm wondering how they hold up on groomers? Also, how do they hold up on icy/choppy steeps? Are the skis very stiff? Ive heard that Surface are generally stiffer than other skis. I also like the symetrical dimensions for skiing switch. For someone that just got off a stiff 186 ski, would the 184 feel too short/noodly? Would I be better off with the 194 or would that be too big if I want to jib around with em? I would love to hear any feed back about these as I havent been able to find too many reviews.
Thoughts? Recommendations? Any other ski suggestions?

The 184 New Lifes wouldn't ski as short as a One Life would. For your height, I'd recommend it. If you're looking towards an everyday/pow ski, look into the Surface One Life at 189. It's my one ski quiver, and I love them so so so so so much, hands down the best ski I've ever owned. Stiff for sure, don't chatter. Float amazingly, they aren't all too fat (112mm in the waist), which is awesome though. You don't need all that girth for skiing pow when you have a rocker like they do. They can haul ass on steeps.

It's a pretty versatile ski, really fun to play around and butter on.

^ That is a handy discussion thread I made up back in the day, had a pretty good and educated discussion turnout.

Also, donate to see the glory of your "hot girl thread"

Ive been looking into the ON3P Caylors and they seem like a rad ski. Anyone that rides em or has ridden em care to elaborate? Does the 191 feel long. I was skiing a 186 so I assume the 191 shouldnt be too much of an adjustment.
Is there a camber on the caylors?

Also, what is the stiffness of the Caylors like compared to the New Life?

Bump for a confused shredder...
Now considering the 189 One Life and 191 Caylor.
Any thoughts on any of the skis mentioned in this thread would be appreciated!!

i dunno but you could try jjs in 185, thats what i use in big mountain/pow and i love them, not too soft but so far i havnt pushed them that hard cuz ive jsut been skiin pow in them but they are a really fun ski and kill it on the groomers

get the 192 bent chetlers. they ski so nice. all the benefits of a massive pow ski with the ability to slash and turn on a dime. significantly stiffer than the 183's, but they are significantly more difficult to find. here is a pair that someone else on ns is selling. it is a fucking steal. the jj's and shit just ski short. going huge with the 192s is so worth it, because they ski so short and balance themselves out.

Get the 185 Armada JJs. They are good in the pow but also kill groomers.

I definitely second the 191 Caylors. ON3P is a really great company, and make the most bomber skis on the market. The Caylors would just destroy any terrain, and would be an awesome choice. They are stiff, but all the better for charging

My vote goes to One Life 189. I skied LL2's for over 3 seasons, and they were my favorite ski ever. Blew the binding out, so I demoed New Lifes and One Lifes to see what I wanted. New Lifes are an awesome ski, shreds pow and blows through crud like no one's business, however I felt they were too much for an everyday ski, which I used my LL2's for. The One Lifes are the same shape as LL2's with camber added underfoot, basically sex. Super fun in pow, on groomers, in the park, whatever. Im 6'2" 180 for reference.

jjs are sick but that extra length from the 192s is really worth it. Those jjs ski wicked short and the extra length from the 192 bents is just a little bit sicker

my vote is for the caylors. im 5'8 and i have the 181's and they're awesome. they do ski pretty short on groomers, but they're pretty stiff and supportive as well. when you put them on edge most of it will catch and you have good edge contact to carve (i think its like 162cm on my 181's). in pow they're awesome. never sink, lotta fun in the less steep pow, but charge hard through the deep. my favorite thing to do with them is slay the crud after all the pow is gone. they go over everything and feel super solid under my feet. granted they arent symmetrical, but they slay switch as though they were. i would for sure recommend the 191's for you.
