New Liberty Park Ski Design

Ohh the rocker craze! Remember when snowboarding invented rocker went balls to the wall for it realized it didn't work and are now shifting back to camber!? Liberty make a park ski not a pow ski. I'm sick of all these soft ass rocker dumb park skis. Build a ski that's stiff stable small and nimble. 100% camber because edge hold is cool and pop is nice 88mm waist because shifting from edge to edge quick is awesome and reducing swing weight is kinda important and a medium flex because butters are fun but flexing out isn't! Make it durable. Go crazy 4mm edges, extra think base, simple solid core, hard long lasting top sheet, tip and tail rivets, and some beefy sidewalls. Make a ski that you can carve like a racer with something that's quick. All black race base because black p-text is the fastest and hardest ( really it's true ) with a quick side cut to help snake in and out of features. Make a ski that charges and is bombproof. All this rocker bull crap and pointless tech in skis is getting annoying just make a simple, practical, durable ski.

Just buy Volkl Walls.

I absolutely hate the whole rocker / camber hybrid shit. Give us full rocker or flat underfoot. Everyone want's camber for pop. I can pop higher on my fully rockered skis than I can on any other skis.

Most people agree they want something symmetrical with around 90mm underfoot with a medium soft flex. This sounds a lot like the antigen. Honestly I'd just spruce up that ski and give it the same materials as the LTE so you aren't sacrificing anything when choosing a ski.

ALSO WHATEVER YOU MAKE PLEASE INCLUDE A LONGER SKI SIZE FOR TALLER PEOPLE

Seriously finding park skis in a 184 and up that don't end up measuring short is a bitch.

Yeah you know what you're right! Lib-Tech never invented banana tech it's all a myth

U don't know shit about skiing if you think Lob Tech invented rocker. We can't claim much against snowboarding when it comes to really progressing snow sports, but rocker 100% originated from Sir Shane McConkey, a skier/blader.

Yeah well Lob Tech didn't invent anything lol. And no because snowboards were the first to come with reverse camber and lib tech was the first to bring the idea to market. McConkey was not the first, Inca Snowboards first used the idea in 1996 but Lib Tech was the first to truly market the idea with Banana tech. The rocker tech came directly from snowboarding as an effort to do what camber does with skis and make a flat contact point with the snow. Wether you like rocker or not you can thank snowboarding for the idea and for brining it to the market. McConkey also used rocker for pow not grommers while snowboarding used the idea for all mountain disciplines.

Most snowboarders are still riding some form of rockered boards. It's because they work... Why are you hating on progressing the technology of the sport? If everyone was like you we would still be on 203 straight skis, not wearing gore tex and having shitty rear entry boots. Also you pretty much just described the Volkl wall.

I work in a snow/ skateshop and literally all the employees that work in the snowboarding ride camber and push camber to customers because they feel rocker doesn't work. Plus it's kinda crazy to see all the company reps basically saying the same thing and that the companies are slowly switching back to camber. Rocker has it's time and place but I don't feel like people realize how much it actually can hinder your performance in a park scenario. Granted surface swaps will be better but you lose so much edge hold and high speed stability on jumps. I guess I'm just old fashioned or maybe cause I'm an east coast kid but really I think ya'll just need Jesus and some good ole camber. I got so much better once I switched back from rockered skis it's crazy. Maybe it's my riding style I don't know.

I generally agree with you when it comes to park skis, but for pow, big mtn, and all mtn, rocker is here to stay as long as we still have snow beneath our feet.
