I just built this rail this week. I haven't put supports on yet so it is easier to store til it snows.

pvc is cheap so if you want a cheap ass rail in your yard pick up some pvc, it might not last the longest but it will surely help with gettin onto rails and keeping your balance

looks to me like your edges are going to catch a little on the holes for the screws and where the pvc peices come together. but it looks sick otherwise.

what now.... ?

it was cheap to make it only cost 30 bucks. My skis defintiely won't catch on the holes but i'm worried about catching where the the kink hits the second flat. I might have to adjust that. it is very sturdy though

Yeah, we slid some skis over the the holes. Nothing catches at all. Not even the slightest bit.

It's 6 Flat, 4 Kink, 6 Flat.

All of my rails are pvc. It slides like you wouldnt believe, holds up good in the cold, doesnt crack, and costs almost nothing. It's a sure bet.
