perhaps not overly creative as it's been done but I think heli shots of kickers are pretty damn sick either way, sooner or later we're going to have to try and focus less on whether something is a new and groundbreaking idea or not and just try and appreciate the skill and style of what's being thrown down.

yeah i was back there the other day... for one of the worst rippley-concrete runs of my life, but it looked like they were building or had built a massive hip over that mound near the top of harmony, from left to right on the mound.

 
i heard that the jump on harmony is a step-up for a snowboarder david benedict... i guess hes pretty big in snowboarding.... anyways, just what i heard

Should have seen the MASSIVE quarter that was built on the Hortsman glacier for a shoot with the Oakley snowboard team. It was huge. I was scared even standing at the top of it.

As for the Step over in Harmony it was for the David Benedict documentary and it was huge. Basically a kicker to shoot you up and go over and land on the other side of one of those humps in the camel humps. It was so massive no one could land it and they needed to shave some off the top. If you are interested look for his video, I think it's being distributed with some snowboard mags next winter. After the shoot was over they graciously let Mike Douglas hit it for MSP, so look for it.

the irony is that last year when we had the natural step up gap off the cat track from left to right on the other angle of the hump, chucky and i were talking about how sick it would be to build that very jump that they made for benedick. too bad we don't have a groomer budjet. the harmony jib line is KILLER though
