New Kendrick album dropping

So Kdot is dropping his new album on the 23rd which is going to be fuckin fire and I personally cant wait. Anybody else as stoked for this as I am?

I agree that Cole is good alot of my friends LOVE him. Idk what it is but something about him just kinda pisses me off. I know thats a shitty reason but its true. To be honest I like classic rap wayyy more than any modern rapper.

Yes 100% I hate the majority of modern rap, its like someone mumbling into a mike saying niguah repeatedly

I just like Kendrick because he had that old westcoast style. But what classic rap do you like?

Kendrick honestly is more lyrical than a lot of classic rappers I've heard. But I agree with you classic rap in general is much better you gotta search now a days for the good shit

I think to pimp a butterfly is a metaphor for how society ruins such beautiful things and corrupts them into things they're not.

kendrick is a true rapper, but I think Cole has the spot for best out right now. I mean both are close, and its pretty much personal pperference for who's better, but nobody can deny that either of these are the real shit and they know what the fuck is up.
 
Just finished my first listen to it. I don't know what to think. It's very different.

Top 3 Songs are Hood Politics, The Blacker The Berry, and Mortal Man.

i like king kunta, wesleys theory, and complexion the most but ill listen to the whole thing. the beat on complexion is so flowy and smooth and old school
 
Singles made it seem like it was going to be a very diverse album with a bunch of different styles and sounds, but it flows together beautifully and overall an amazing production by flylo and message by kendrick... however for me nothing will beat section 80 with kendrick.
 
It's great, but not as great as GKMC. It's gonna take a few listens for me to fully appreciate it though. I like Hood Politics, The Blacker the Berry, Alright, and These Walls so far, but I need to listen more.
 
The Blacker the Berry got me so hyped, but the album as a whole wasn't what I was expecting. To be honest I don't really like it at all/really disappointed. I'm sure I'll grow to appreciate it, but I think I went into it expecting too much.

I think people were expecting bangers but its more of a cohesive album
 
I've only given it one listen and it was while I was studying but I was a lil disappointed. The fact that the hottest tracks already dropped made it a bit anticlimactic. Also some strait up annoying cuts on this thing. IDK, needs another more cohesive listen for sure.
 
I found it alot better when I gave it a second listen. First listen I was looking for banger songs that his last album was filled with. Basically you just have to realize its not super hyphy songs
 
It's probably the most artful rap album I've ever heard. Super dense I guess, like I could listen to this album for a while and still find something new in it. Lovin it.
