actually, you're wrong. I bought a nano, and im still happy i bought it. People probably bought the nanos for their size, not capacity, these new ones are just as big as the old ipod photos, they jsut play video, big deal i bought my nano to listen to while skiing.
 
ya true but arent these new ones thinner it looks like. the 30GB is down to 4.8 ounces.

im waiting for a new version release of the nano... want to make sure all bugs are found and they get things squared away
 
sweet...the only shitty thing about IPODS are that:

this shits been around forever, i have a pocket pc, its sick, it has a camera, video, music, instant messanger, internet access, a gps, games, pictures, a photo editing program, and sooo much more crap, oh yeah, the screen is waaay bigger (and its a touch screen) and i got it all for like 400-500 bucks, if you want video (which is dumb to watch on a 3 inch screen) watch it on a pda or at least a laptop.

but i also got the new 60 gig color ipod cas i only have 4 gigs of storage on my palm (and i didnt know what else to get for my birthday). but yeah everyone knows apple drops newer and newer stuff all the time, so if you buy now theres just going to be something newer in a little while, i'm sure they will improve this one later on by making the battery last longer or something, its just how apple makes its dinero.

ya, but then why does my phone battery still work after 4 years, its lithum-ion? i charge it everyday. why cant apple use a battery that wont dies after 18 months?

that right there pretty much makes it not worth buying, unless you dont have an ipod already. -2 hours of video is pretty usless, especially if after those 2 hours, you cant listen to music.
 
i mean it would be great for ski trips where you watch the vid in the car and then listen to tunes on the mt. but you cant do that because of the batt life.
 
man that thing is sweet. i just gotta wait till mine dies then with my sweet sweet warranty ill get a brand new one.

apple was too dumb to get a patent for it so microsoft took it :)

I'm happy I waited to get my new one. I can now get a 60 or 30 gig color so much cheaper, or buy that video one and blow everyone away.
 
u know whats great about this? by the time i get my gift card in the mail hopefully for my replacement ipod, at circuitcity, they'll be in the stores
 
no, not at all. they are trendy, and that is what they reily on. there have been video players out for a damn while, and I bet they ahve better batt life while playing videos. apple, now makes the smallest one, and parhaps its a bit cheaper then the others, but its at a price. battery life matter a lot. plus, the screen is really small compaired to other protable hdd video players.

yeah i wouldnt get one because i wouldnt want to ski with it cause i could break it, or actually even take it with me anywhere because its expensive and i would over protect it
 
lol a 2 hour battery life and thats what they advertise you gotta say its around maybe an hour and a half at most prolly an hour. Thats crap, they released it too early. Should've boosted the battery life before doing this.
 
Uhhh...seems like a PSP without the video games now. Plus it's more expensive. And personally I couldn't see myself watching a movie on a 2.5 inch LCD screen, I don't think you'd get the whole "feel".
 
dude thats nothing i KNEW they were coming out with these ay over a year ago. like written evidence from apple, not just me thinking. im a badass woo i know stuff before other people.
 
you can onhly transfer it through i tunes but u can downlod songs or upload cds to itunes and put them on ur ipod through there!
 
how the fuck would i know? do i fucking have one? my guess would be that you plug the fucker into your computer and send shit to it that way. asshole.
