I was looking at getting one of these new ipods to replace my broken shuffle. What does everyone think about them does any one have one yet, how would it be for skiing? Thanks for the help.
 
I don't think it was really designed for watching full lenth videos on, more for impressing the hot babes with a few clips of you skiing and stuff like that.
 
id say get a shuffle if your looking for a good skiing ipod, i kno the shuffle been pretty controversial and i prolly wound't have gotten one if my ipod hadn't broke and my friend didnt sell me his for 30bux, however, once i got it i was prtty suprised abt how much i liked it - especially since it's easy to transport wherever - has a fucking ridiculous battery life (mine stayed alive for two weeks w/out charging it), and is prefect for skiing sicne you don't have to worry about breaking it on gnarly crashes
 
yeah I would still rather own an ipod than those bricks they call zunes....idk in my opinion both are overpriced..but hey whatever works
 
i hate it when people complain about size od mp3 players, espescaially their thickness. i don't know if you've thought of it this way but a deck of cards is a lot easier to hold than just one, thicker cases just fit better with the human hand, fuck the razr, crzr, and ipod
 
ya but for skiing - w/ the zune, ipod video, or iphone, there expensive and if you have a bad crash your pretty much fucked
 
they're so damn cool. amazingly thin and the screen resolution is killer. i'd be afraid to ski with it though, because i think if you landed on it it would snap in half pretty easily.
 
shuffle for skiitting, just clip it on some shit on your jacket, easy to access, and it works.....plus you don't fuck around with songs cuz you know you only got 12 hours, you just enjoy it.  i love mine for it.
