New iPhone Camera Tricks

Thoughts on the new iPhone's "Bokah Shift" feature or whatever they're calling it? Haven't shot on an iPhone in a while but it'd be nice to have something decent I can just whip out of my pocket at anytime so I'm thinking of upgrading from my old piece of junk. The also announced the usual "Better low light performance" and " Farther optical zoom" upgrades. Sensor shift stabilization could also be good but I dunno, just tryna get some thoughts.

Bro for the price of a brand new iPhone you can get a AC30 lol or a gh3 with battery’s and 2-3 lenses or a nice ass low operating hrs hpx or hmc or hvx

Yes this is true but I already have a camera that doesn't fit in my pocket or make calls. I'm talking about a phone upgrade that's decent enough to whip out on the go.

Get one of the ones with actually different size lense like the two or three because the iPhone optical zoom no matter what is almost always blurry, they all have exposure adjustments tho.

If you are into having the latest and greatest then sure go for it. IMO it hasn't been worth to upgrade every year to the latest iphone. Especially when most people are probably just using imessage, scrolling insta and snapping pics and vids for insta where they just get compressed af. What are you planning to use the phone for? New SE 2 is best bang for the buck in 2021 still imo

just get an android, need the battery while skiing

I think the image stabilization and the fact they they are realizing optical zoom is a priority is sick. Something else is the new refresh rate which would make watching high frame videos a lot better. Ill also say the improvements on the wide lens are pretty sick too, its so handy for follow cam and actually looks pretty dope. If you got a reason to cop a new phone id say the 13 is really the best one for video rn.
