new idea for rail surfaces

go to the goodwill or the salvation army or wherever you can get some really cheep, old, straight skis, numerous pairs if possible. cut off the tips and tails so they are completely flat and bolt them upside down on some wood or somethin. wax the skis and shit, youll be flyin.

or because the skis are about 6 feet long, you can just use metal. and its cheaper, its god material but expensive as fuck

 
na dood, you can get skis from like the swedish army from the 70's and shit for like 5 dollars a pair. its cheep if you get the right shit.

and if a ski is like 6 feet long, then ya double them up thats 12 feet, which isnt a half bad rail for some backyard foolin.

one time my friend wanted to hold up a ski and have me grind it. I was like I'll crush you dude. Then he's like well I'll hold it up so it looks like your grinding it and I was like wat da fuk yo.

i think youd dig your edges into the ptex it isnt that tough of stuff and then your rail would be destroyed very fastly

dude u can buy 2' round tubing for like $2 a foot and it will last for ever . dont waste your time using skis

 
no, what you do with old skis is build a a snow-boxcar-racer on top of a pair, and send friends or enemies down the hill to a hilarious crash.

What your gonna buy old skis? at my slope we have a huge skip full of trashed skis that we can nick if we wanted to make a rail. I bet ski resorts chuck loads of old knackered skis out that you can use. Don't pay for the shit, and anyway, piping would probably be better and just as cheap.
