i would have to agree, the new NFG cd is pretty rocking anf even though its not as good as their previous it still is NFG at their best, they are a fun band to listen to and rumor has it that they are awesome live

1)Their new cd, in my opinion,sucks.

2)They suck live. Ive seen them. THey are awful live. the singer can't hit his notes, the sound is mixed poorly.

4)all there shit sounds the same

their older cd is much better than their new one. I wouldn't expect many, if any punk bands to be good live anyways. just like I don't expect any pop or rap to be performa=ed well live either.

1080enemy, there are tons of good live punk bands, tons of them. But there are also tons of punk bands that suck live. NFG is one of them.

that's no reason to hate them, the real reason to hate them is they're shitty pop punk mass-produced by drive-thru records. and wow, the messages in their songs are sooooo deep. and yes they do suck live, as i've posted before when they were a pathetic support band and everyone was booing them off the stage. this was well before MTV got a hold of them of course.

I dont hate them casue they're popular, i hate htem cuase they suck. i like tons of pop punk bands that are popular and shit, but NFG sucks. they are awful.

I hate them because simply, punk music is musically inclined. With a few exceptions, punk music is very low on instrumental talent. Punk IS about energy. NFG completely lacks energy. So you are stuck with a band that is instrumentally weak, with very little energy. Not much there to listen to.

i think that nfg has had better stuff than their new album, but i have to agree with phrosty on this one. all these people hate on nfg just because they're becoming known. they think that they 'sell out'. i mean, honestly if all you ever wore volcom and someone set a couple million bucks in front of you and told you to wear abercrombie, i gurantee you that almost everyone would take them up on that offer.

There self titles album is much better but i dont agree with people not liking them because they are popular if they were small i bet more poeple would like them

Of coursesome of the bands you ehar about on epitaph aren't going to be very good. But Epitaph boasts bands such as, Pennywise, F-Minus, Choking Victim, Leftover Crack, and Bad Religion. Of course they have some shitty bands, but what label doesn't?

okay, first of all why the fuck are you people arguing over what's good punk and what's bad punk? nobody's going to like the exact same bands as you and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. what really pisses me off though are the people who say they like a certain band because THEY'RE POPULAR AND THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE ELSE LISTENS TO. to you people i say find out what you like and listen to it. if it happens to be a popular MTV band fine, if not well that's fine too. it's about the music not the image. as for new found glory, i have their new cd and i must say that i like their old stuff much better. i am going to go see them live in october but i'm basically going to see finch.

Hello... sorry to levive this levathian, but my latest 'interest' is really into punk/emo/whatever, and I figured I'd finally snap out of my classic rock lethargy and listen to some music thats not thirty years old. I'm looking for bands to listen to, just do develop my ear for this kind of music. On the list is New Found Glory, the Ataris, Finch, Dashboard Confessional, Weezer.... what else? And what songs should I download?
