I think, since Newschoolers is now "Skiing's Online Community" that you should add some forums for different types of skiing:

1) Trees/Glades

2) BackCountry

3) Racing (yuck I know)

etc.
 
We were talking about different forums yesterday...

Look through ski gabber, and try to figure out what people talk about, and how you could break it up. (I had some trouble)

Also... just to play devils' advocate... splitting up ski gabber would make the posts happen slower... is that actually good?
 
it will make the threads alot slower at first, until the new forums get exposure and more people join the site outside of the "Newschool" world.

Just an idea.
 
I was not sure if you'd want to keep this website strictly newschool skiing. But then I noticed it was "Skiing's Online Community" and thought that a seperate forum for each type of skiing would make it easier.
 
You're actually quite right... I was more prodding to see if people could come up with various ideas for how they'd like to see this done...

It will happen eventually, it's a matter of coming up with a million different ways we could do it and choosing two.

Often a hard thing to do!
 
Well, we definitely need a trick tips forum, a lot of threads are asking how to do stuff.

after that, maybe pro talk, i dunno.
