and you couldnt ask this question in the official 2011 first drop thread because......?
 
i left my ns account on and i told my friend to photoshop those colors but instead he made this thread so whatever. anyone else have some sick suggestions?
 
Personally, I don't like either of those combinations, and think they look really quite stupid. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'd recommend a flat colour in either the pants or jacket, there is too much going on with those.

Also colour combinations can be very 'iffy'. For example another person on here thought blue and yellow jacket with saga syrup pants would look good, but purple and yellow has to be the worst colour combination I have ever seen.

All I'm saying is choose wisely, but if you really love it, do it, because in the end it's what you want, not what I want.

They're on opposite sides of the color wheel, so they contrast and look really good together, blue and orange, yellow and purple, green and red are all complementary colors. It's like how black and white work together. Complementary colors are what makes a sunset look incredible, the blue sky with an orange glow. I have no idea what thatguy is talking about.

Here's an example of a color wheel. Each primary color has a secondary color that complements it and the tertiary colors are opposite each other. It's color science.

me being from minnesota and having the football team be purple and yellow... its the only thing i think of when i see thosse colors
 
it must just be me. but i never see those colours together, and the shade of yellow will be disgusting with purple
