NEW DRY SLOPE AT LIBERTY MOUNTAIN

jumps.jpg

jump looks so nice

tight. this is the liberty that is owned by the same people as Roundtop and all the PA resorts right

That looks awesomewhat happens if you fall on that stuff is it as bad as water ramp material or like carpet?

i really want to try something like that one day. i wonder if it hurts to fall though..

im wondering the same thing...lets hope that this place is really successful and other areas build them as well. that would dope

I think I read on here once that it burns pretty bad to fall, so you gotta cover up pretty good and that it can burn through clothes if it gets bad. I'm not 100% though.

i read about it on the site it hurts less than snow because it ahs a layer of padding under the turf stuff the whole set up is called snowflex i whould like to know when this will b open looks so sick

thats right fuck all the VA haters. first dryslope in the nation bitchs. like 4 hours from my house 2 hours from school. my boy goes to school like 10 minutes from there.

those jumps just gave me the biggest boner. it seems wierd to hit like a 30-40 footer on dryslope shit

I know the ones in UK do. From what I've heard anyways. This guy who was at momentum last year told me that he knew someone who had a nipple torn off from a fall. And that you get bloodied up real bad if you fall. You don't want skin showing apparently. Like you learn not to fall because falling sucks so much. I've never done it this is just from people who ride that stuff.
Maybe this new one is a different type though.

so sick i've been following this for a while, my cousin goes to Virginia Tech and has an apartment down their and it's only a 3 hour drive so I can't wait for weekend trips.

how dope would that be? but still this place is only three hours from my house....to bad i'll be at school when it's open.

I'm wondering if it is even open to the public.... Wonder what it takes to be a "prospective student"

"

While on LU’s campus, prospective students,

current students, alumni and their families can spend quality time

together, taking full advantage of everything the slope offers,

including skiing, snowboarding and tubing.

"

i think it would be a very poor decision to not let the public use it if that is indeed the case

seems like a lot of money to build...people going to the university probably don't ski that much anyway...

really smart, initial investment is probably high but upkeep is probably really cheap compared to the upkeep of a good park in the winter

on www.snowflex.com you have to look at the project examples, there you can see that the slope will consist two rollers and another slope with rails, sick...

It falls pretty soft, but snowflex fucks up your skis after a while...

it wont burn through clothes, i ride that stuff everyday pretty much, hurts a load of your not covered up tho, get burned or torn up.
good to ride on otherwise
