just got my license yesterday, and it only took 10 MINUTES

i was surprised

so i want to know what i should put in my car and what would be a baller keychain

get an incense burner and feng shui dragons on your rear view mirror

and a hookah in t he backseat

then grow a fu manchu!

If you live anywhere near a ski area or large amounts of snow, make sure you have a shovel and a sleeping bag in your car. The shovel comes in handy for getting stuck and building jumps, and the sleeping bag is good for getting stuck or partying or passing out in your car after partying

go with the shovel too Ive used mine a couple times building jumps and stuff.

i always have a bunch of pens and stuff too because i always forget when i get to school so it makes it easy to remember if you have something right there

new car scent air freshener, cell phone charger, rain-x window de-icer, lighter and spare change

i think that covers about all the necessities

rain X? but yeah lighter is good, cd case filled with cds, ipod, some extra shirts haha helps if yours gets dirty also u can keep munchies in there

TP! It's the most versitile thing, it's a box of kleenx, a rag, useful when nature calls, good for pranks (if you have a lot of it), good fogged-up-windows-and-I'm-in-a-hurry clearer... I never leave home without it.

This shit. If your windows are icey and frosted, you spray this on it, it's an aerosol can and it all just goes away. It's amazing.

some kind of air freshener...so clutch, good speakers, ipod hookup, i also made a red bull cup holder so it can hold the slim cans, and drive safe.

Ice scrapers are fine, but it doesn't always work so good on frost, or a very thin layer. That's when the rain-x comes in handy, it takes it off no problem. It's not really a bunch of chemicals, it's probably just some kind of saline solution that reduces the freezing point so that it melts the water.

subs are required pretty much and throw in some hoody's cause you never know when its gonna get chilly.

Spare parts for your car (fuses, lightbulbs, hose clamps, etc), JUMPER cables, basic first aid kit, in the summer if you live in a hot climate bring along a gallon of distilled water, Tire pressure gauge,

you can always google this and get a ton of other ideas too.

Great post, what this guy said is stuff everyone should have in their car. Also maybe spare windshield washer fluid and extra oil for your engine. I know guys that carry extra belts even.

Double check that you have a working spare/jack/tire wrench, and when your bored one day try changing your tire for fun. Otherwise you may be stuck on the side of the road doing it for the first time.

keep some silverware in there (fork, spoon in the glove box or soemthing. I always seem to end up having food like spaghetti or something and nothing to eat it with. Also a sharp knife is good, like a swiss army knife, you never know when that will come in handy. Booster cables like someone said already, a blanket/sleeping bag, shell jacket/raincoat, flash light, pair of sunglasses. When I'm at home, I soemtimes leave my licence in the car because I always forget it inside if I don't. Toilet paper and a shovel is a really good idea, like someone said already. if you have room, some sandbags in the trunk are good, because they add weight for extra traction and if you get stuck you can bust them open and spread sand under your tires for traction. ice scraper, 500 mL bottle of motor oil too.

I would say the most important things are:

Jumper cables- nothing sucks more than a dead battery and not being able to find anyone that has them

Flashlight- in case you have to change a tire at night, it will make things a lot easier

Pocket knife- get one with a screwdriver in it too, maybe like a leatherman multi-tool

Motor oil- especially if its an older car. Every time you stop for gas check your oil and ad some if you need it. Its really simple and it can prevent a lot of serious engine troubles.
