has any one played Counterstrike: source, its sweet, we should make a clan

its cool. definatly not all i hoped it to be. the only differences were graphics and effects and some sounds. plus there aren't even any of those old awesome levels like awp map and iceworld.

i like it a lot, Half Life 2 is better, but i play source when i get stuck on a part on HL2. BUt we should start a clan

I hate awp map with a passion....but iceworld kicks ass.

did you ever have a LAN party with 20 people playing tiny maps like fy_iceworld? it rules, the rounds take like 30 seconds haha

 
americas army does rock, what versoin is the latest, cause i have 1.6, i havent played in like 6 months. we should start a clan for that, i used to rock that game.

i love iceworld, i like 2k better tho. the best map for LANs are the he_ maps, those are soooo fun, or scoutzknivez, i'll take any one in scoutzknivez

Almost every custom CS 1.6 map has been ported to source, mainly because it's so easy to do, basically just take the original BSP and re-compile it with Source tools.

yea, they're being a real bitch with the registration process... i was gonna get it illegaly, but then I saw my friend install it and figured it would be to much of a pain in the ass and bought it... so i guess it was smart on their part, because they got $60 cnd out of me.

CS:S looks pretty but the gameplay is crap. The netcode needs so much work, which ruins how the game is supposed to be played, like the random headshots sometimes and other times when you're aiming right at their head nothing happens. I'm sticking to 1.6 until its fixed. HL2 is ridiculous though... the gravity gun is amazing..

the grav. gun is sweet, and the food balls that you throw, and gets all the monsters to attack guys, thast soo sweet to watch. the physics in HL2 are just rediculous.

but about CS:S yeah, the gameplay does need some work, but you have to give it time, and it will evolve into as good of a game as 1.6. I like condition zero better than 1.6 however. but thats just me.
