I'm going to be getting a mac book pro in the very near future and i was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to transfer files from my PC here at home onto the laptop (iTunes files, programs, documents, etc...)

word. thats what I was going to say.

Go to your local best buy or other electronics store and you can pick up a decent sized one (like 400GB) for about $75.

Problem = Solved.

Yep. But if you don't wanna drop that much you can get a 1MB flash drive. But thats prettty small and would take a long time to transfer all of em.

i don't see why you wouldent be able to just connect an ethernet cable between the two and make a network then transfer files that way

that's what i was thinking... you think by now a company like Apple would be able to do that easily. The biggest worry for me is transfering all my music, because I can't seem to find where exactly they are all stored on my computer

They're actually getting pretty cheap. Definitely not as low as $75 for 400 gb, but I got 250 for $80. And 400 gb can be had for $120ish on newegg.com

Okay so I guessed a bit low.. whatever. I saw one online somewhere.. 400GB for $105

Sorry I was $30 off....
