I just got a new laptop and whenever I try to watch a video full screen the video will run really slow and choppy, but when I make the video small again it runs just fine. Anyone know why this is happening? I mean this computer should slay everything it has 3gb ram, 250gb hard drive, a nice video card, and its brand new, any solutions? BTW its using vista, and anyone know how to make the desktop icons smaller? thanks
 
It's only on videos i watch online, like here and on vimeo, but youtube works fine fullscreen for some reason, does anyone know how to fix it?
 
make sure your drivers are updated. also, no matter how kickass your computer is, your internet can always be slow.
 
I was just sayin that it has a lot of free space, if your hard drive is small and full of crap everything is gonna run real slow, you don't have to be dick

plus if I didnt say that someone would probably tell me to check if I have enough free space on my hard drive..............
 
Thanks for the replies, I know it's not slow because of my internet speed, the video runs just fine when its small screen, but when I make it go full it just runs real slow, even if it's fully downloaded
