Hey, I will apologise in advance for the shameless plug, but here goes...

Me and some of my friends have been fed up for a while about paying too much for average ski holidays in average resorts.. Until we discovered Bulgaria! We had such an amazing time that we have got ourselves a chalet and set up a company there.

The things that attracted us to Bulgaria were:

beer costs about $3 (or much less if you buy in a shop)

Nobody touches the powder (and there is a ****load of off piste terrain)

Really cool town and culture, completely different to anywhere else in Europe

Stupidly hot women!

Our dream is to have guests which share similar passions to us, that we can take out skiing and spend whole days barely seeing a marked run.

We have an amazing chalet, fully kitted out, and we just need to fill it with like-minded people.so we can share our dream with you.

So i apologise again for the plug, I hope you wont mind a fellow newschooler trying to build a dream.

If you know anyone who might be interested, please send them our way!

Thanks

Ive just always been worried about how snow sure bulgaria is. When you say youre fedup of going to average resorts, where have you been going in previous years?

I always wanted to try Bulgaria, but I always ended up with Austria. Sure, beer is cheap, and probably food as well, but it always seemed like a bit of a gamble. Lack of good parks always stopped me as well, dunno how the situation is now. Your biggest task will be to convince people that it is not a gamble, because at the end of the day, the amount you save as compared to for example Austria, is not that much.

Yea totally agree that changing peoples idea of Bulgaria is gonna be our biggest problem. In terms of snow reliability I was skiing powder in April this year which is about as good as you can hope for in Europe... I have worked seasons in Austria, Italy and France and I wouldn't say the snow is significantly worse at all.

We really believe that the culture and the adventure that is going to Bulgaria is worth it.. It is a crazy place full of crazy people (many of them Russian) who really know how to party even if they don't know how to ski..

There is also a pretty cool festival in Bansko now, called Horizon festival, i'd say its worth checking out. Its not on the scale of something like snowbombing in Mayrhofen but its cool nonetheless.

The lack of a really good park i'll agree is a bit of on issue for us, and something which we will try and work on once our feet are under the table a little bit. Keep an eye on that for the future.

Thanks everyone for the support. I promise any of you a great time should you choose to visit
