New Category under Reviews for Event Promoters and Organizers

Hey all,

John Spriggs posted on Ski Gabber about how he and all the other athletes got scammed by the guys who put on Ice Air. I'd hate to see that information burried 40 pages down in ski gabber and have these guys pull the same thing again. We have reviews on all other types of products and services, why not allow people to post reviews on the events and the people who put them on.

Great events are great for the athletes, the sponsors and the whole sport. The popularity of the sport has attracted some quality sponsors, and people interested in putting on quality events. The same popularity has also attracted some folks who are only interested in making a buck.

A review section would hopefully give everyone a way to know who they were about to sign into agreements with. It seems like it would be a valuable resource for NSers.

I don't know how much it will be used but maybe try sending a email to Mr.bishop there is a category for services, I would think it would fit under there.

Thanks Papa, I sent one to Schmuck. Based on the descriptions, it looked like that might be more his baliwick. Hope I didn't bug the wrong dude.

... and yeah, I hope pros, up and comers and others involved in the seen will utilize it. Best laid plans though. What usually happens with these things is that people seldom take the time to respond to anything that someone has done well, but they usually do when they feel like they have been screwed like Spriggs. So it might not showcase the folks that are doing good stuff as much as it will call out the sleazes.
