"New" boots

so i have had the same pair of Nordica boots for the past 5 years. finally got rid of them. went to the ski store and leased a pair of used salomon xscream boots for 35 bucks for the rest of the season.

my question is what boots should i get after the season is up and i have to give these guys back? I like park but i am more of a whole mountain skiier wether it be groomers, pow, tree lines.

oh and let me just stop you right there before you even say it I AM NOT GETTING FULL TILTS!!!

thanks and plus karme for anyone with some good input.

I have to politic for the Salomon SPKs. I have used a ton of other boots (Nordica, Technica and Head) across all different types of riding and I think the SPKs are the most versatile boot I have had. I can ride my center mounted AR6s in the park and they stomp for sure or I can use em' on my rockered pow skis and they are just as nice. SPKs fo sho.

second. i love mine, only problem is mine are not the warmest boot on the planet, second season riding them and after they got packed out i started noticing it

third, i love them to death and wouldnt go to any other boot, i ride my ghettos, old assassins, and ar6s and they rock everywhere no matter what

Whats wrong with Full tilts?

Maybe theyll fit awesome and you'll love them... maybe they wont.

Go see a boot fitter, and get your foot in the proper boot.

also... searchbar to the max homes.

a good boot is one that fits. go to your local boot fitter and sort it out with him and not us. i highly doubt you'll get proper advice on what boot to get in here. you could check out the sticky thread in this forum about how to buy boots for a solid general guide line, but seriously... get fitted, it's the only way to go.

If you're old Nordica Boots fitted you fine you should look into this years Ignition boot. That's what I am ridding on right now and there really great. Good flex, good retention, all 4 buckles micro adjust, big booster strap, fur lining, shock absorbers, and best of all they have a double hinged top buckle and a weird shell design that makes getting in and out of your boots ridiculously easy.

u just cant make threads like this it makes no sense...
there is 100% no way for anyone to give u suggestions unless u are willing to buy a boot that is so umcomfortable u will ski an hour max before crying.
go to a ski shop.
tell a boot fitter what u are looking for.
let him fit you. bring lots of money and knowledge of what they have becasue just becase the boot fits doesnt mean its what u are looking for.
DONT BE AFRAID TO SAY NO. but at the same time u need to trsut ur bootiftter that he is intelligent enough to not fuck u over. if u dont trust em, dont buy from him.

amen.
check out lyndon's Sticky Thread in this forum.
Boots are the most important part of your gear and also the most intricate to solve. Seriously, read his thread...it's a sticky for a reason.
