i am looking for new boots and i destroyed a cheaper dalbello boot from last year. i looked at some fischer boots and they look and feel good, but i know they are known for racing and nothing more of fischer boots or gear. anyone have input from past experience with fischer?

What dalbellos you got? i just got my krypton Cross and they are amazing as long as you get the thermo liner.

u may have had the buckles too loose if they cracked like that

I am not a fan of SOMA Tec or any other design that abducts (toe out, heel in) your stance. Even though it is a natural standing position, sking isn't exactly like standing (way more lateral motion going on than standing) and thus the boot stance will open your hips in a weird way, especially if you wear footbeds. It's why Nordica stopped doing it in their race boots and is phasing it out of their all-mountain boots too.
