I just got Marker 12.0 titaniums because they were on sale. Does anyone have any experience with these bindings? Did I totally screw myself by choosing these?
they don't have the best release for freestyle, so if you can return them, do it, and then message me to buy a sick pair of Rossi Axial Power 100 pro's for 100 dollars or best offer.
(the preceding was an advertisement for my super rossi sale thread, aka 'SICK bindings fo' sale')
i have seen kids land forward off of boxes and just fly out. the same thing on jumps. i'm not sure the real problem with them is, but i haven't seen good things.
Could that be because they have their DIN's too low? I guess I'll have to try them out first and see how they hold up. If they give me too many problems I'll try to sell them on eBay and get new ones.
man. i had something called the Marker 1200 titanium Frees or something (i dunno if they are the same as what you have) but they sucked. there is a little roangish titanium piece that the break is mounted to, that will get destroyed. like, i can't tell you how many times i handed swith, my ski popped off for no reason, then b/c the ski was goin backward the break went in the snow and totally ripped off. then the last day of the season, i land switch and the whole heal piece fell off. it was marvelous. sorry to make you upset about buying them, but i'm just statin the facts.
No, the 1200 Titanium Free's are not the same. The bindings look pretty strong actually, alot of metal peices instead iof plastic, but this makes them a little on the heavy side.
