I am 6'3" 190lbs, trying to get a pow ski for the up coming season. Looking at the 185cm blog or the 191 access. The blog has a 10mm edge on the underfoot over the access. Other than that their wicked similar with the 10 pop rocker. Need help deciding which is right for my height and weight. Also, anyone know the difference between the atomic L2 woodcore vs the L3?
 
Im from the EC, the chetlers underfoot is just too much for skiing out here you'd get to ride them like twice a year trying to stay between 100-115mm under.
 
It refers to the amount of sidewall underfoot, the L3 has 3 layers of stepdown sidewall where the L2 only has 2.

The Access is more of a perfect all day all mountain ski, it's what I'll be on for most of the season. The Blog has more of a charging feel to it, you won't be able to really open it up on the East. Go with the Access, such a super fun ski and a killer price too ($499.99).
 
I feel like I should let you know about the Access a bit. You might not know, but it only has rocker in the tip. It is still a twin though. And it does float well! It is way softer then the Blog too. That is because of the 2 layer sidewall underfoot, compared to the 3 layers on the Blog. It does have good surprisingly good stability though. And it does still hold a pretty good edge at speed. But I am heavy like you, and it does chatter a little bit.It is one of the best everyday skis for the money!
