New 4bi9 Gypsy Edit!

motherfuck i give up. also, this edit was just a re-edit of a bunch of old footy. ridiculous.
 
yeah i take back that statement... however, the fashion consciousness of gypsy/hesh kids is equal to that of wannabe thug/gangstas.
 
clearly you would think its a joke, however you don't get the slight hint that its semi serious? I think its pretty clear that skiing is moving more towards "gypsy" stuff, maybe not so exaggerated but a lot like in snowboarding.

4bi9 has sucked a lot lately. maybe its cause they're more professional and focus on their movies, but back when they first came out their edits were the best. it was just skiing with banger tricks messing around in the park. this "joke" edit isn't fun to watch at all

They go out and have as much fun as possible. He's right that it seems like "thug" people act more serious.

you take this thread and replace the words "gypsy" with "hesh" its a carbon copy of a thread from last year. NS and its trends. get over it and let people be people.
 
yeah they do care about fashion, but no more than the thug's, and atleast its fashion in a white person way. not a "im gonna dress up like someone im not and be all serious and act all thug cause i ski bro!" type of way.it looks to me like stepp and some of the other super thuggy kids might be realizing that their thug skiing and hard attitude is getting lame and theres alot of people out there having alot more fun and skiing just as well, and getting alot more props for it.
 
that's just your judgement and perception. maybe if you were friends with 'thug' kids you'd think differently..

god damn you NS. every 4bi9 edit ever shows that crew having as much fun as possible. whether it was a joke edit or not, they had fun making it. quite saying that thug skiers take shit too seriously, because i dont think steve stepp takes anything seriously.

honestly, find me a 4bi9 edit where they looked like they were taking everything seriously and not having fun. try

the point i was making was that in this edit, the idiots at 4bi9 portrayed hesh/gypsy kids as being super serious and not having fun at all... when in fact, their whole reputation is that they go out there and have fun and dont give a crap if they dont huck doublecork 12s...

im not saying thug kids cant have fun, but they do definately take all their edits way more seriously in an attempt to put out this BS image that theyre all tough and gangsta.
 
I don't know how you stubborn motherfuckers don't find this edit to be sick, it was funny and the skiing was top shelf. Get over yourselves
 
yea this is true, but there are alot of skiers that dress thug like myself, because it hides imperfections of tricks, and you look steezy to boot. none of the thug skiers i ski with have a hard attitude. i still don't really know what you mean by a hard attitude either.. if you're saying that they act like they're too cool for everyone else look for the thread where the kid wrecked himself in jonesies and their crew helped him out. all the 4bi9 guys are having a good time, along with just about everyother skier no matter what they're wearing.

Here's one difference though- gypsies try to look dirty, but in reality buy expensive ass clothing to accomplish this. flannals, tight pants, those gay scarf things, necklaces and such.

i mean at least thugs don't accessorize.
 
Thats a good video. really kinda a retaliation to the hyphy edit that syms and buddy guy made. Except the Gypo edit was sweet with good skiing in it. The dude doing the switch to 5-0s was sick. Thats new shit I havent seen yet. I liked it. Granted the syms and Buddy guy edit was funny, and Hyphy was getting... Well Hyphy and needed to be Hyphied down aa peg or two, but the skiing was shit and just looked like kids who like the hyphy style but suck at skiing. At least 4bi9 skied well and put all Gypo kids to shame. Gypo Kids I dont like the way you ski. Ive got a friend named Max, hes probably my best friends brother, and I love him to death but his skiing style looks like shit cuz hes a Gypo. God Damn I hate greenday.
 
Weeooaahh this is the first time I peeped this thread. I haven't read the whole thing, but the hate is blowing my mind.

The whole edit was a joke with no intent to offend anyone. It seems like people are looking wayyy too much into the edit and thinking we're hating on this or bashing on that. We made the edit hoping people would think its funny, but apparently not!

On an end note, I don't really dress like that, and i don't think i fall into the category of "gangster". I do wear wolf shirts though
 
I dress "thug" because I enjoy doing that while I ski. I like the way it looks. I have fun every minute I'm out there. Same with all my friends. Stereotypes suck
 
yay.at least for me the whole acting thug thing is sorta a joke, just having fun... i dont think many skiers actually think their really thug.
