Whats good Y'all? I'm bored just hanging out and I was thinking what is some new gear that is out this winter that you're super stoked about or wanna cop? I feel like this year is one of the best the industry has ever looked. it doesn't look like anyone has any bleh gear. On that note ill get it started. Im coping a pair of 192 white walkers with kingpins, also probably gonna cop a reckoner 112 and put the new duke on them!

orderd revolt 121 (with duke),104,95,87 + blaze 106 + dalbello il moro.

want the new line blade... but so far the prices here are nuts

want reckoner 102/112, but worried about lengths and reviews suggesting they are for petite skiers. also.. crazy prices

wanna try to get a faction 2021 CT 2.0. ... wtf currency has them at crazy prices.

I'm 6'3" and weigh about 190 and ski the reckoner 102 and 112 in a 184 and the 122 in a 191. Hope that helps with your decision.

Wow, ns actually has users that buy current season gear?

I'm excited for the 2020 colorways to go on sale more.

Thankfully for the ski industry, yes! There's some fun skis coming out this year... the Reckoners, the new Faction Prodigys, the Line TWall... I was pretty fired up on most of what i got to try for The Roofbox this year.

Told myself I'm gonna focus on soft goods and not skis this year. Really want some bibs as well as need to get some more base layer$$$.

Edit: I'm a sucker for new skis. Fucking on3p and moment lines are super tempting. I don't ski enough to get more ski though.

I won't be buying any gear for the season but there is a short list I am excited to hear about on this site.

- Duke PT

- Armada whitewalker

- Armada stranger

- ON3P tour and 50/50 layups

- J skis hotdogger (or is it hotshot, i don't remember)

- Anything 4FRNT under new ownership

I’ll be getting the PT soon as well and the WW and stranger so I’ll give a report back as soon as I’ve spent time on them.

K2 is amongst the brands we usually get to demo so hopeing for a demo of both, I have way to many "short" park skis already, but people do say good things about them. How do you feel the energy in the ski is vs lighter friends skiiing the 102? Makes me nervous when people light people are saying it fits them and flexes nice ;)

I'll probably write a review on the PT as well as reckoner 112 and hotshot

Just curious, did you try the 191 112?

I rode the 184 and honestly loved how it skis! I definitely want the 191 122 tho. I enjoy the 184 but definitely could go longer in the 122. But the 112 felt phenomenal at the 184 length.

Weird one, but the atomic four amid helmet looks dope, coming from someone who always has battles on whether to wear the helmet or not, it could be a problem solver style wise

Not sure what I'm gonna end up grabbing (if I do) but I'm excited about those:

* Reckoner 102

* Updated Prodigy 3.0

* Sammy C Whitewalker

* Not a new ski, but love what ON3P is doing with the Magnus 102 coming in different pro models colorway, that Mango sunrise look sick

* The come back of the Pivot 15 (I'm rocking the 18 because I prefer the bomb-proof metal toe piece but I really don't need that kind of DIN range so super pumped about the 15)

* Special mention to the updated CAST gold touring toe piece matching the gold P15 colorway ?

I have not skied it yet but I am looking forward to! The 184 was great so I'm anticipating the 191 will serve as the perfect bridge between the 112 and 122.

I feel more "mash" in the 112 than the 102 if that makes any sense. Personally, I am a fan of wider skis in general so the 112 is a great all terrain killer for me. I've enjoyed it in everything from a bit of fresh snow, to chopped tree runs, to slushy summer camp pipe. It's easily my favorite ski I currently have purely for the sake of that it's great all around. It's got a bit more to it so it just wants to go.

The 102 however is my ski that I pick when I know that I just want to go and have a good time and rip around the resort. Probably take a good amount of park laps, find some side hits, a bit of whatever. There's a bit more "chill" to the 102 in my opinion. But in a good way.

Think about it this way...you see Karl dropping switch 5's off the top at Beartooth on the 112 but then Joona blowing minds one butter at a time on the 102.

Two of my favorite skis for a long time.

Just ordered the '21 Hawx Ultra XTD 130s in anticipation of a ski resort shutdown and i'll need to hike. Can't wait to see how they compare with this new mimic liner to that of my '20 Hawx Ultra 130s

I'm a bit nervous on the mimic liner since I loved the liner in last years XTD 130. I have a feeling it'll be great but ya never know.

I squirted a bunch of jb weld on my revisions so I got that going for me

Lol I had like eight inches of epoxy edge on my 2.0s for like a year. Then one time I landed switch on a jump and the broken edge caught causing me to rip out twice as much edge and eject while still on my skis which ripped off my breaks. Landed on my ass very hard

err posted stuff in wrong thread, informed that new 2021 stuff I have on order should arrive early OCT though!

Whats up man we've got some new 20K printed fabrics for all our ski and snowboard outerwear we're pretty excited about - few examples below for ya. Mix n' match colors to make it all yours and one of a kind. Can't wait for the snow to start flying - shoot if you have any questions.

why not they seem great

Owned it for two winters and sold it! Not powerful, issues with toe staying in place and the afd dropping, only 1 riser sucks. I put it through the paces and the kingpin WAY outshines it!

i want to be able to ski them normally in the resort tho

And you can! The kingpin resort rips as hard as my jesters. I mostly rode my shift on the resort and they just were blah. Most all my skis regardless of theyre gonna be a “touring” ski or not I’m mounting kingpins on them!

For the record I’ve had shifts for 2 seasons and skied them from backcountry to resort to park and haven’t had a single issue. A lot of people who report problems with forward pressure or the AFD are idiots who haven’t adjusted theirs properly (or the shop that mounted them are idiots). They’re a great binding and I highly recommend them. Kingpins are good bindings too but if you like to charge you need to lock the toes to prevent prerelease, and if you fall your knees are going bye bye. I’ve owned both and the Shift is a lot better of a binding imo

They'll have better resort performance than the kingpin and as long as you set them up correctly you shouldn't have any issues. Also, just power through having one riser, if you're using the second riser for any extended period of time you picked the wrong approach.

Awesome to hear, plenty of people are going this route, straight jumping into touring can be expensive AF.
