Netbook

youre probably running to much stuff on it, if its an older one its only designed to run one thing at one time really. run a whole bunch of stuff and it will choke it easily because the specs are not like a normal computer

if youre running itunes try downloading a different music player, because itunes hogs your memory

try this music player

I have the same problem, everytime i watch ski vids and such i jsut close everything but the page where im watching it and wait for it to load. its a bitch

My lenovo s10 is awesome. I have about 60gigs of music on it and i've had itunes, frostwire, pandora, and newschoolers running at the same time just to see if i could do it. no problems so far.

if it has a solid state drive (flash memory, no moving parts a la ipod nano or similar similar device), it would be pretty damn impossible for music to "skip" while playing it. maybe you're running too many things at once, the processors on those weren't meant for intense multitasking.
