Nelson, BC

White water rules.. More powder then any other ski hill around.. Fernie looks like the get no snow compared to white water.. If you can survive the chair life you will love the powder.. there is so many great back country that you can get to just off the lift.. and lift tickets are cheap only $35..

Yah i am from Nelson. Whitewater is the best. No terrain park but one of the largest, easily accessed and best backcountry you will find. So much snow and the best powder days. I did work experience at Bald Face, and the first day i went there it snowed 60 cm overnight, and it continued for a few days like that.

Goto HighlandPowderSkiing.com they have the sickest and newest cat operation out of Meadow Creek...one hour south of Revelstoke, BC

Its right next to Selkirk Tangiers Heli Operation's tenure so the terrain is super sick.

Check out the footage in the Jib Culture flick 'Disturbing the Piste'. Its such a killer area tucked in the middle of nowhere.
