Neighbour Plays Christmas Tunes 10hrs a day for Weeks

Not my neighbour, but I follow CHBC - Global Okanagan on Facebook cause I live in Kelowna.

Anyways, in Kelowna BC, Canada, a dude set up a singing christmas tree on his house that plays christmas songs for 10hours a day every day for weeks. One of his neighbours complained and the cops said he has to shut it down. What's ridiculous is in the Facebook comments, all these people are bashing the lady and calling her grinch for complaining and having the music shut down.

Am I the only one who'd get annoyed from listening to Xmas music 10hrs a day everyday? Because no one is defending her. I was pretty surprised.

I mean, I can understand what people mean about cheer. But there is a reason we don't listen to Jingle Bells in July. People don't actually like the sound of it. It just evoked an emotional response because it's associated with christmas.

But listening to that shit for hours? I spent 14hours studying yesterday. I was tired, stressed, and probably would have burned that guys house down if I couldn't focus due to his blaring music he'd forcing his neighbours to hear.
 
I really don't understand christmas music, its like normal music, but way shittier and all about the same thing with little variety. I can't listen to that nonsense for more than a few days before christmas.
