Need Windells Advice

I think I might be going to Windells this year and I really need your help NewSchoolers:

Weeks: I don't know what weeks I want to go for all I know is that I want to go for 2 in a row and around the middle or the end of the summer cause I want it warm. What weeks are the best?

Saving Money: My parents are making me pay for the registration which sucks. I am sure that in the end they will actually pay for allot of it but I am not counting on it, I need to get as much money as possible. Got any ideas???

Thanks guys.

This, you could go here for a month, or go to mhssc for two weeks, then spend a week at windells. It's the best of both.

I would go to windells if it wasn't so expensive. I have to save my money also. I try to make enough for a session but end up going to Ohio dreams. (Which is much cheaper and you'll still learn a ton of new tricks

I live about an hour from Ohio Dreams. don't underestimate it, you can progress a craaaazy amount there. The water ramps are perfect, and they actually have some rail set ups. Check it out if you're not trying to blow your college savings on two weeks of skiing.

Sessions 2, 3 , 4 and 5 are all sick. Ton's of pro's and the park is the best I've ever ridden.

In the end you get what you pay for and if your wanting to ski on snow and learn from the best in the industry then Windells is the place to be. No other ski camp has a high speed quad and two private lifts that access a private lap park, jump line park and rail garden parks that extend over a mile during the summer months. Along with three air bags and more fun things to do off the mt then you could ever imagine, check these edits out.

If you want two sessions then go 3,4 or 4,5. those two are in the middle of the summer, pretty much guaranteed to have sun everyday. The only downside to the middle of the summer sessions is that is when the mountain is the most crowded. The park will be a little more crowded but no more than a 5 minute wait in the rope tow lines. Also depending on the snow year (this seems to be a pretty good season on hood) you can still lap all the way from the top to the bottom life. The snow to the lower lift tends to melt out around the end of session 5. At which time if you want to take long full laps you will have to take off your skis and walk to the lift. Probably only about 10 to 30 yards depending on how warm it gets. If you have any more questions PM me. Myself and other Saga employees have all worked at Windells for several years and maintain a very close relationship with them.
