Need some help with my edges!! help me pleasse!!

Okay yester day we were doing a box sesh right and i was working on my 270 pretzel 270 out right? well i have the trick down but its like season warm up so i wasn't expecting to nail it like first tries you know? well after working on it and working on it i couldn't grab edge with my ski! it was pissing me off so bad! so i tried it with one of my buddies skis and got it first try! wow i was soo pissed.

I have salomon suspect and my edges are pretty dull but i cant seem to get an edge with them!! Please help me i Have NO clue on what to do!

SHould i sharpen them a little or whaat!! experts out there please help me!

My skis don't have an edge on one side, and it still works for me. I filled it with epoxy and sanded it down smooth.

You could try sharpening them, though you have probably lost a lot of metal and actually sharpening it might not be very possible.

yeah man i think i am gonna like re sharpen them.. but i think i messed the edge up because last year i filed them.. and i think thats what raped my edge?

Filing the edge will take edge away. in fact, every time you sharpen your edge you are taking edge away.

I don't know if there is anything you can really do besides muscle it a little more, or get new skis.

You might want to try sharpening them a little under foot. It is really easy to fuck them up if you don't know what you are doing. Sooo check out some tuning videos before you take a file to them or have a friend who knows what's up help you. Racers are good at tuning so if you have any racer friends have them sharpen your edges from the front of your binding to the heal. This might help you grip a little better.
