Need Some Binding Help!

Sup Homies, before I get bombarded with searchbar references I have a question, My pair of og fks155's have finally died on me(the heels to be exact) and am now in the market for a new pair of bindings. Is the jump from a metal to a plastic toe in the fks14 noticable or would I be better off trying off a new platform i.e. sth14 driver, tyrolia attack13, etc..

Without a doubt do this. find yourself some 140 heels, and pair them with the 155 toes and youre golden

Hi sorry for the late reply, no its just that when I put the heel together again that have started to blow up on me for lack of better terms, they were fine for many seasons but when I blew out my knee a couple years ago I lent them to a homie and ever since then they have become a hassle. I know its more or less me being to lazy to resurrect the heels. Where would I go about sourcing 140 heels and or being able to find everything else besides the dildo, they're worn but nothing serious

Im confused here, what exactly is blowing up on you? Are you having trouble getting the spring that holds the baseplate/breaks together to seat properly? What exactly are you taking apart and putting back together?

Alot of times you can source a full set of fks155s on here or tgr for 150ish

Indeed, against my better judgement I let my friend attempt to change the brake himself and he bent the under plate to all hell and the hooks are basically now flat, the spring wont stay in now as the hooks cant latch the base plate to the rest of the bindings. Also I am aware I could source another pair of 155's but as they age I have been looking at newer bindings that shops around me will mount. No one near me carries rossi/look anymore and as a result wont bat an eye at the bindings making life a little troublesome for me,

Ive rode FKS bindings for 10 years. Never had anything else. Got a pair of atttacks this year and love them. They're a bit cheaper and are a legit, solid binding. Either would be great, depends on what you want to spend.
