Need some advice

Hello hello !

Since the season is coming closer , i started looking for a new ski to get. To my person first ;) Iam 20 yrs old and from Europe, Germany. I am 6.266 feet (1.91m) and weigh about 94 kg. Iam skiing only about 4 weeks a year since im like 5... Iam pretty sporty driver on groomers but rather new to the park...I can do 180s 360s some random bullsh and very easy boxes...thats it so far but i want to improve.

Last year a borrowed a k2 extreme which i actually enjoyed. I basically learned the aboves trick with it. How ever for real pow i thought its too narrow under foot.

What i want from my ski: i want to ski mainly groomers and pow, playing around cruising , going fast, doing basic tricks etc and improving my switch riding;) On the other side i wont visit the park too often.. in percents:

groomers :60% pow: 30%/35% park: its obvious isnt it ;)

Skis i looked at in the internet:

Atomic : access (might be too wide) ,coax

4frnt: msp (really liked that concept..)

k2: kung fujas, revival

Ok that should be enough for now. Thanks in advance for advices no matter what they will include ;)

easy now

What width underfoot do you want? Also what is more important to you performance on groomers or pow?

Hi thanks for the reply. It should be around 90 to maybe 100 underfoot but iam not an expert... I want it to be rather better on groomers than on pow, but i really like siing powder so if there is a good compromise it would be great ! thanks

In that case I would say look for something with more traditional camber but a little wider, something like the Armada ARV would probably suit your needs well.

this. arv can still slay park too. or look for something like the salomon 2012. only 90 under foot but decent rocker which would help in pow and traditional camber under foot for groomers. i personal love them but they have mixed reviews...

I don't know if he should go with ARVs cause they are kinda soft and he says he wants to go fast and with his size I think they will be too soft for him

on the salomon site it says the 2012 is a pure park pipe sky..!? what do you think about the msp from 4frnt ? and thx for the help to all of you ..plus k

Hey man ! the on3p looks really dope so far ! But isnt it a bit small for me or do you recon the 1.81m is enough ? the ski would be 10cm smaller than me if it is the real size ... cheers and thx

hi its me again ! I want to get the on3p jeronimo now actually but i am not sure wether the ski is long enough ( 181cm ski , iam 191cm) unfort. they dont have this one bigger.... thx
