Need some advice in what ski boots to get

I'm an intermediate park skier looking for a pair of boots around the price range of 300-400$. I was looking at brands like full tilt or Dalbello. My shoe size is around a 9 and my feet are more narrow than wide. Any ideas on which model I should get?

You should get the local bootfitters. From what your telling me and the way your foot looks it would be the perfect boot for you

Finding a good boot-fitter is like finding a good car mechanic- every town has garage but not every garage has a good mechanic. There are lots of ski shops around, but not a lot of great boot-fitters. Ask your friends who are skiers where they got their boots fit at and visit said shops to see which place you want to spend your money at.

In general, a boot-fitter assesses your specific foot shape, arch profiles, ankle flexibility and other biomechanical parameters and then selects the best boot for you based on these parameters. A boot-fitter will also perform shell reshaping by means of grinding or stretching the plastic shell to fit your exact foot shape.

Most credible (specialty not chain) shops have 1 or 2 solid boot-fitters on hand to help you out and get you dialed.

Alright thanks for the info. Any thoughts on what brand boot I should get? The boot filler is for whatever boot I have right?

Each brand makes super narrow, narrow, medium, medium wide, and wide boots so there is no one brand to look for. People will tell you what their favorite is, but since you don't have their feet it is useless to ask people what boot they like.

Now, concerning quality, the more $$ you spend, the nicer a boot you typically get. Better plastic quality, better buckle quality, better fitting liner, etc etc and this holds true for all brands.

^ Nope most of teh big brands will have at least 4 last options, 5 if you include race boots. They tend to be 98mm, 100mm 102mm and 104mm, and posibly a 95mm.

Like I say most of teh bigger brands have this. One of teh few that dosnt is full tilt.

They then will also use differnt liners in the same lasted shells, so you could maybe have 3 differnt fits from the same shell, just by changing the liner. So say we say 2 fits per last, and 4 lasts, thats 8 differnt fits from most companies.
