Need some advice for Utah skiing...

So in February Im going to be in Utah to visit colleges and do some skiing. I have never skied Utah before and so can you guys tell me which resorts close to Salt Lake have the best big mountain back country stuff like cliffs and shit. Hoping for good snow while Im there!

First of all go to the University of Utah if your looking at colleges. Best decision I made in my life. If your looking to hit some good all mountain with "cliffs and shit" go to Alta or Snowbird. Both wont disappoint.

Ya I will be definitely looking at the University of Utah. Anything else I should checkout while I'm in salt lake?

Alta/Snowbird obviously, but for cliffs/BC access Brighton and Solitude are also awesome (and less crowded). We just need a few decent storms...
