What’s a camox armada? Lmao all jokes aside, I’d peep the Prodigy 1.0 by Faction or the Poacher by K2. These are all mountain park skis that are stupid durable but can carve like a bat out of hell I’ve skied both extensively and I think the prodigy skis are the best going right now

Camox Armada re the latest collab, but shush.

Yeah was thinking abou the poachers, idk why didnt write them. Arent the fations prone to just breaking. ive heard so many of my frinds just breaking, delaminating, ripping our bindings from factions idk on the reliability.

No the stories you hear are most likely the Candide series, the prodigy series are super solid. Ask [tag=105085]@Twig[/tag] he loves his

[tag=105085]@Twig[/tag] cam you confirm this? Also what you riding on/ thoughts on them

I am a big fan of the Prodigy series. They are some of my favorite skis to ride because they balance stiffness and fun really well. And as a result, I've ridden the 1.0 and 3.0 the most out of anything over the last 2 seasons. They definitely seem to hold up better than the Candides, especially the skis out of the new factory. That switch was made for '19-20, with more skis moving for the coming season I believe. I do think there are still more durable skis out there, but in my experience, they hold up as well as, say, Armadas or any other major brand I can think of and they have a great warranty program from what I hear.

I have Roofbox Reviews out of both of those skis on NS, so if you want more of my opinions on them read those. But feel free to hit me up with any specific questions too!

In terms of your original question, it really depends what you are looking for in a ski. For basically skiing park + groomers, I'd be tempted to look at more regular cambered skis, because when you ski rails on/detune something with as much rocker as a Prodigy, they really tend to suck on hard snow. Nothing is good, and if you really do want to rip groomers, you need a different ski from the ones you ride rails on, but more cambered skis perform better way better with blunt edges than heavily rockered ones.
