Need new tricks help a brotha out

I've never gone inverted on skis in my life (at least not on purpose). I need to step up my game and start throwing something other than a big 5 blunt. Hopefully coming from someone with experience, what's the first inverted trick I should learn. thanks

I was in almost the same spot as you last fall, start going into jumps and instead of rotating with your arms drop your shoulder hard and work your way into a cork 3, then take it to 5 then 7, that was my progression and it went very well. However flat 3 is also a good place to start

Yeah, but cork 3 are pretty hard to set right. I do mine more like a lincoln loop when a cork 5 is more of slow cork 7 that you dont finish.

My recommendation is for stepping up your game is stomping 7s. Its a gateway trick to off axis tricks.

Before sending a flat 3, learn to backflip first. The motions are similar

Sounds good thanks for all the help

Misty flip is another one that is less scary to throw on a jump. I'd say learn frontflip first before misty but I've seen some people land misty as their first flip.

Also definitely start messing around with rotations on tramp before the season starts. Can’t stress enough it’s super helpful for air awareness and makes it way easier once you get on snow.

Learn backflips, frontflips and lincoln loops; that covers the main linear axis of inverted rotations, everything else is built off those starting blocks, once you have them dialled tricks like rodeos, flatspins, mistys, bios, underflips and corks should be an easier progression. Well that's what I found anyway...Good luck!

for sure, i learned a straight 7 first and once i got a grab in it made my air control so much better
