Need new skis

i have afterbangs, and i love them. apparently it is a hit or miss though. i'd recommend them, but moment reno jibs are hot shit.
 
my waterbangs are waterlogged, it sucks...you can see all 7 layers and 2 of them are rotting.

right now i have amplid antidogmas, sorta pricey but so worth it, abs is sick and they're durable. Topsheet chips easy tho which is annoying but its ok because the have no swing weight, which makes hucking onto rails/off jumps a thing of the past!
 
they are rockered and im on the east coast i dont get alot of pow but im in the park all day due to that and i heard they are great for rails and not stiff
 
i dont know about a slushy day, llike its a temporary thing, but mine are strait up waterlogged and are significantly heavier than they used to be.
 
Seen it happen honestly. Not sure if it was just from the slushy snow but iv seen a bangs with rotted out layers on the side. The wood was noticable softer and squishy almost for a few millimeters. It was weird, probably just an isolated defect.
 
You should be really good. It was only like one or two layers that got it so i think it was just a small defect in that ski. And if your not constantly pond skimming or keeping your skis in deep slush, you will be more than fine.

I have had afterbangs for 2 years and the don't get rotten like that the problems you guys have had are probably defects or something because at my mountain i know like ten kids with abangs (sucks cause when you ride with the you look kinda gay imo) and none have problems even if we are on the eastcoast and we skied three times in hard rain. But if you are still scared of it happening and you have a bit more money get the domains or the bluesteel (if you can find them). I don't know much about the jibs sorry.
