I am looking at new park skis for next year, an was considering this years Rossignol Scimitar in a 178, next years AR7s in a 176, or Scratch Pros in a 174.

I am 5,8, 130 lbs, but aggressive skier, hitting jumps up to the 45-55 range, lots of rails, but still want to be able to play around, like nollie, smear, tap, and butter stuff.

I'm leaning towards the Scimitars at the moment because they are on sale at GetBoards for $320, and they seem like a lot of fun, but I am a little concerned about swing weight for jumps.

I am coming from a 171 ON3P Blue Steele, and they just got too short, and did not like how they felt hitting bigger jumps, which was squirrelly at high speeds and generally unstable, but i loved them for rails.

are you only looking at those skis?

Cause if then, as much as i hate to say it, ar7s. I dont think you would enjoy s4s.

If not next years 176 filthy riches or Steup ups.

I just hate the way they ski. Not my cup of tea. But yeah, ar7s. Soft enough to butter and stiff enough to stomp at your weight.
