Hey im getting sick of the same ole and i want to download some new music. My favs right now are the used, afi, cky, throwdown, finch, thrice. Any suggestions??

i suggest you move to the hip hop side of things.

try 'make you feel that way' by blackalicious if you want some convincing.

listen to pipe_munkey. however, moneen is the odd one out in that group but they're really good nevertheless.

if you can find anything by 'fear before the march of flames' definately get it. they're local colorado boys that a really good hardcore sound.

also, you might like 'coheed and cambria'. they kind of have to grow on you, but the lyrics are incredible.

'silverstein' has a new album coming out.

'fordirelifesake' is also some good hardcore.

'evergreen terrace' also has a new (sort of) album out. good hardcore.

'boy sets fire' has many kick ass albums. the newest one (tomorrow come today) is simply amazing, and it comes with a dvd. it touches on lots of political isses.

'rise against' is one of my favorite bands. they play good, fast, heavy punk with good lyrics. the perfect hybrid of emo (without the whining) and hardcore. the newest album (revolutions per minute) is pretty political.
