Need higher flex tongue for Full Tilt High 5 boots.

I got them from some now older folks who had only used them 6 times, they had gotten them due to easier to get in and out of. Plastic and rib was good tongue was good it was a great 80 dollar buy.
That was 2 years ago. I just love how they are like a glove on my foot, and want just a bit more support.
I got back into skiing and SkiBoarding with them, I know should update boot but its hard. This was my last shot to find some tongues.

just standard booster straps because you can ratchet em down. its a hack not a solve but tongues get beat up
Ill also check if I have tongue for FTs that are stiff enough. I don't know if over the years they have changed over in terms of flex. [tag=134699]@onenerdykid[/tag] is the man for boots.

Yeah unfortunately that may be harder to find. That shell is the old fti which was discontinued when the fte shell was introduced back in 2015. A quick goggle search did not bring much up but some shops which have stocked the boots for years May possible have somthing. I’m this instance changing the booster strap will not do a lot unfortunately. In a 3 piece boot the cuff is not locked to the lower shell like an overlap boot as the flex comes instead from the tongue. So adding a different power strap will not really change anything as the power strap is connected to the cuff which is free to move anyway. It may snug things up a little but it won’t really up the flex. I would try to hunt down some old tongues or even find some other old fti boots super cheap which you can take the tongues of.
