Need help with Utah trip

Guys,

I am lucky enough to be going to SLC in January for a conference and I have two days free to shred. Now, I have a free one day pass for Solitude so one day will be spent there. My question is, what other mountain should I hit up? With so many awesome choices within a short drive I want to make the right decision. I am not a park rat, generally only take a few laps through just to check out the features. I just want for an awesome mountain, nice wide open groomers to cruise, bowls, trees, looking for a little bit of everything, as I do not get outside of NY ski resorts too often, other then an annual trip to Stowe.

So NS, where should I go??

in comparison to NY, you cant really go wrong in utah. Park City is good for park and the rest of the mountain isnt that great. Canyons is decent mountain and decent park, kind of a well rounded area terrain wise. Alta/snowbird has no park scene, but incredible terrain, but it is similar to what solitude has to offer up off the summit lift/honeycomb canyon area. brighton is similar to solitude but with a park.

If it were me,id spend a day at solitude, then head over to PC/Canyons and kind of see whats going on over there, its a little bit different than whats going on in the cottonwoods.

REAL mountains you say? Little Cottonwood (Alta/Bird) without question. If you decide you are interested in skiing some park but also want a large diverse mountain give Canyons a shot.
