Need help With School Project.

Hey guys, I'm writing a paper on the free skiing community and group and was curious if a few of you could answer a few "Research questions" for me.

1.) What defines free skiing?

2.) What makes YOU a free skier?

3.)what specific style could define a Free skier? ( clothing/outerwear)

4.)What rumors do you hear about free skiers, which are true and which are false?

5.)What role in life does skiing play for you?

Thanks guys.

1.) Freeskiing is terrain park based skiing, along with certain off piste elements in my opinion.

2.) I enjoy skiing, in the park.

3. Larger sized clothing, slightly baggy

4.) Freeskiing is lame, full of 12 year olds, not real skiing. It's all false.

5.) Skiing is possibly the most important thing in my life after my family.

3. Can you elaborate on this question? Style as in skiing, or outwear?

Thanks a ton man, +k.

1) Skiing without borders, restraints, edges (double entendre?) or boarders (jk)

2) My areas of interest on the ski hill (park, off trail, gutters, ext) and the fact that I log onto NS half dozen times a day

3) Whatever snowboarders were wearing 2 years before. Kidding again. Kind of

4) They all smoke weed. False. Meth. They are all rich suburban caucasian babies. False. You can get to Chads Gap from Altas base. Verdict is out.

5). For me, its just a giant expensive hobby that allows me to kill about 35 days every winter. Its fun. It makes me happy. My wife and I can ski together, then get loaded on bloodies.

1. Free skiing is exactly what it sounds like, you have the ability to ski freely based on how you want to ski, no one can tell you otherwise.

2. I am a freeskier because I listen to myself whenever I am in my skis, I am in control even when I am out of control.

3. Freeskiers wear what they want, wether it be for comfort or looks, I prefer comfort. Typically slightly larger clothes are more comfortable, much more so than very tight and small clothes. In my opinion, Jeans are not very fun to ski in... Especially after you fall.

4. I hear rumors that all free skiers are white, suburban kids: False- BMOS, Nigeria. Well, probably 99% of free skiers are white, but not suburban, most of the people I ski with live within the city limits of Minneapolis, not suburban. Pretty sure we are a minority on the hill though.

5. Free skiing maintains my sanity while also wrecking it, it's extremely fun and I definitely spend too much money on it, but it does not matter how much money I spend on it because the feeling you get from free skiing is priceless.
