Need help with crossed grabs.

Everytime i throw a mute or blunt grab i feel that the cross isn't that deep. Any tips on how to get it closer to 90 degrees? I want it to look like Bobby's
 
Just start your roto and then cross, get a good grab on, and yank that shit around to 90. Your legs dont naturally want to turn like that in ski boots haha, so you do have to pull a bit, but its not like your gonna overstretch yourself or something. Then just let go and stomp it!
 
I want some clarification. I always thought blunt grabs were tail grabs but with the skis parallel and not crossed. right or wrong?
