NEED HELP QUICK

Hey, i have been skiing all my life but am just getting into freestyle. I was a racer so am keen to use skier cross as a way to break the boundaries, anyway iv got rossi scratches for park and need some piste skier cross style skis, was lookin at the line fx 7.3s. has anyone had any problems on these or opiniomns? also carbon or titanium? or any other sugestions?

no iv got skis for park i want some new piste skis that are flexible so if i want to ride hard i can and if i want to got to the park i acan aswell, i am pretty set on the fxs now so any coments on those would be good, carbobn or titanium?

 
Titanium if you have the extra money. But I'm not sure why you would want the 7.3's, but if that's really what you want go for it. I'd grab a pair of true all-mountain skis designed for specifically that, and then use your scratches in park.

why wots wrong with them, and why the titaniums over the carbons? i can ge tthe fxs for $130 brand new. for that price are they not good? iv heard they are like the salomon screams in the ride but iv never ridden either of them

 
the line fx are a really good ski in that they are really fast, have a nice sidecut, and hold a good edge. but dont look to use them in the park.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

if you have park skis why do you want a carving twin? get a pair of atmoic supercross skis, to fucking rip up the gates and the gnar.

It's hard to tell exactly what you want. for racing skiercross you want a race ski. don't even bother with the skiercross crap the ski companies try to sell, use a race-stock GS ski and you'll kick ass. For park, just use your twintips, you need the twin for taking off and landing switch and you don't want to fuck your edges up on your skiercross skis. Skiercross is pretty much the same as racing, twintips will suck if you're serious about it, but race skis will suck even more for park stuff. hope that helps.

how about the '03 tweaks, the greyish silverish ones. those should work for you, trust me.

thanks everyone for ideas, im gona go for some proper race carvers either atomic supercross, rossi 9x oversize or volkl supersoport 4 or 5 star. thanks

 
right pretty much setled on atomic sx:11s iv heard they are amzing and just what im lookin for, slightly worried about the weight though. also im not sure what size, i used to race 180s but im thinkin 170s might be a better choice3 for manouvrability and carving, im 6 foot 2 and 85kgs, any ideas?
